Your industry poses challenges, customer demands, increased competition and constant change. In addition, the growing number of lawsuits in your industry means you have to take greater care than ever before in dealing with customers and employees. Any number of situations can pose serious financial threats to your company. Finding the right coverage and controlling your losses are important to you and your bottom line. You need an insurance carrier with a proven track record for the long haul.
On any given workday, you may have employees on the road operating a variety of vehicles. Whether you provide company vehicles or your employees use their own vehicles, commercial auto insurance is a must — in fact, it's required in most states.
Commercial auto insurance provides coverage for cars, trucks and vans used by you or your employees for business purposes. Your business vehicles are not covered by your business owners policy or personal auto insurance, so you must buy a separate policy. They should be written as Business/Personal use through a commercial auto policy.
Our AMIS staff is here to work with you to provide the coverage you need for your business. When you work with our staff of insurance brokers you will receive:
- Competitive quotes from more than one insurance company
- Straightforward answers to your questions and advice so you can confidently select and conveniently secure the coverage that you feel is best for your business
- Ongoing support
At AMIS, our agency founder has over 42 years in the insurance industry. Most of our staff Insurance Brokers have been with AMIS between 7 and 20 years.
We’ve spent years as an independent insurance adjuster, and our insurance suppliers have spent years providing insurance coverage for businesses like yours. They have designed commercial auto insurance programs that provide many of the key coverages and services that you and your company need. The insurance companies we work with target businesses with class codes such as manufacturers, distributors, installers, and repairers of specialized truck equipment.
The insurance companies provide commercial auto insurance for your operation's vehicles, they automatically cover your business vehicles, and they can extend coverage to your employees while operating their own autos on the job. They also include valuable lease gap protection, sometimes at no extra charge. This means that in the event of a total loss to one of your covered autos, they will pay the outstanding balance of the lease if it exceeds the actual cash value of the auto.
